Palos Park physician's medical and controlled subs…

In its October 2017 enforcement report, the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation listed a Palos Park physician whose physician and surgeon license and Illinois controlled substance license were temporarily suspended.

The Department cited alleged inappropriate controlled substance prescribing to patients of the physician's private practice. It also cited failure to comply with a Department subpoena and falsification of the physician's 2017 license renewal application; the published entry is cut off after those grounds.

A temporary suspension is an interim order pending further proceedings and does not by itself establish that the alleged conduct occurred. The report does not describe any final disposition.
