What Happened
A traveling nurse surrendered a license in 2017 after a disciplinary affidavit alleged the nurse stole fentanyl, morphine and hydromorphone from Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, Mass.
The affidavit alleged about 40 vials of 100mcg fentanyl were missing, and the nurse later admitted to the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing to stealing 27 doses of fentanyl for patients who had already been discharged.
